Right idea, DOUBLE wrong execution, because:
1. Firearm appears to be a .380, aka "mousegun". A more concealable Glock .45 ACP, 9mm, or .357
is much more desireable. At least a BAZILLION words have been written that when it comes to effective
self defense, the bigger calibers are better, loaded with JHP or HP. Just after to the venerable gunscribe,
Jeff Cooper's passing, the Army Wound Ballistics Institute issued their final report, which validated
Cooper's ;ifelong claim, that THE most effective self defense round is the .45 ACP, JHP, followed by HP,
then ball, 230 grn., clocked @ 850 - 950 fps. YES, recoil is an issue, but, that is easily tamed by
porting, trigger job, better grips, and perhaps a few other tweeks;-)))))
2. The paper target is a semiautomatic handgun line drawing. <CYBER RAPPING MY KNUCKLES
ON SOMEONE'S FOREHEAD> ALL quality firearms' self defense courses stress aiming at and
hitting the perp's "center of mass", being their sternum or heart. The target should have been the
standard concentric circle or a silhouette.
Although I haven't stated it as a third wrong exeution, the under breast holster takes longer to deal
with than strong side waist or belly pack. Another factor hindering firearm access and withdrawal,
is the woman's endowment. bruce
