George Orwell had it right with his novel 1984. The only thing he had
wrong was the date.

Military members and Dept. of Defense workers who tried to access
Amazon, Google and YouTube this week were startled by the following message
in big, bright red letters: "WEBSITE BLOCKED."

The "official story" and explanation was, " too much bandwidth" was
being "eaten up" by those trying to get news of the calamitous earthquake in
Japan.

It was said the extraordinary action was requested by the U.S. Pacific
Command "to help meet the needs of the military due to network and circuits
in the region facing extreme demands."

"OFFICIAL STORY" COOKED UP AT PENTAGON

Sound reasonable? Of course. Those of us who worked with generals at
the highest levels of public affairs know how important it is to have a
"plausible" story to feed the public and members of our armed forces.

But MilitaryCorruption.com has learned this type of censorship is, in
part, a "dry run" for "pulling the plug" on us and other websites deemed
critical of Pentagon policies. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
and freedom of the press be damned.

Remember how quickly Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak ordered the
Internet shut down when demonstrators took to the streets to protest his
corrupt regime? President Barack Hussein Obama is not unaware of that
happening here, in fact, his Administration would love to have possession of
a "kill switch" to stifle such troublesome websites as DrudgeReport and MCC.

Would the public stand for it? What could they do? The Obama
cheerleaders in the mainstream media would find a way to "spin" the story
that some sort of censorship was for the public good. But as the frog in the
frying pan knows, when the heat is gradually turned up, eventually you get
"fried."

A PERSONAL THREAT FAILS TO INTIMIDATE

"They want to find a way to call you back on active duty so they can
court-martial and send you to the Leavenworth DB," said a friend with access
to certain circles in the Pentagon.

Our editor-in-chief, a disabled combat veteran of Vietnam and
"Mustang" officer, who rose in rank from private to almost lieutenant
colonel without kissing one ass or compromising his integrity, is 64 years
old, hoping to see 65. He knows, being called back on active duty, under any
pretext, would be a death sentence.

"I'm not accident-prone and don't believe in suicide," said MAJ Glenn
MacDonald, who declared he would not report for duty under such adversarial
conditions. "The years (1966 - 1969) I served in Nam should be enough to
prove I am willing to lay down my life for my country. By telling the truth
about corruption in the U.S. military, (forgoing a salary, or even expenses
since 2000), I continue to serve. Those who would try and muzzle us are the
true enemies of freedom and our way of life."

[EDITOR'S NOTE: If you have been putting off printing out
MilitaryCorruption.com stories because you are short on time, think of how
you'd feel to click on this site and see those big red letters: WEBSITE
BLOCKED. It was tried before, at Carlisle Barracks in 2003, by the Marine
Corps a year later, and three years ago we were hacked and shut down for
several days by a "denial of service" attack traced to Fort Meade, Maryland.

In each instance, MCC fought back and won. We are the only web site
that can say we have a "letter of apology" from the Pentagon press office
(signed by Col. Gary Keck) after we caught one of his minions in some
egregious conduct against us that could have resulted in the government
being successfully sued for a small fortune.

Don't fear "clicking on" MilitaryCorruption.com. We are up to six
million hits a month (worldwide) and growing. If you stand firm and stay
with us, we will preserve your right to know the truth. Know that we will go
into federal court and fight for freedom of the press whether our colleagues
in the fourth estate support us or not.

Download our stories by using the little green tab at the lower left
of each article. Send them far and wide. We have made it easy to do that via
e-mail. Do it while you still can. It's later than you think.]
