[MedicalConspiracies] Small Claims Court, Supplement Claims, Couldn't Say it Better

Why? Human food safety drastically different than Pet Food safety
Why are the recommendations for safely preparing human foods so different than what is recommended for preparing our pets food?  Both human food and pet food has seen a dramatic rise in salmonella recalls.  So why are safety steps so different for human and/or pet food?

Small Claims Court, Using the Back Door to Pet Food Accountability
Your pet gets sick from what you believe was directly caused by a pet food, treat, or other pet product.  You have a $2000 vet bill, a recovering pet, and an uninterested pet food (pet product) manufacturer.  Where can you turn to advocate for your pet and be reimbursed for expenses?   The answer is Small Claims Court; armed with excellent documentation of the event.  This could be the one step that changes the future safety of pet food!

Couldn't Have Said it Better
One pet owner stood up for all of us in a letter to Veterinarian Christopher J. Allen DVM, JD regarding his article '5 types of potentially litigious veterinary clients'.  These are words that needed to be said and need to be heard.

FDA Backed Down on Supplement Claims
Ever wonder why you 'hear' the saying an apple a day keeps the doctor away but never read that claim on apple advertising?  It's because the FDA won't allow any health claims for any food or supplements; the FDA feels if it improves health it has to be a drug and thus controlled by FDA.
