Especially in light of the fact that far more
deep soundwaves have been detected in the universe -- far from Earth but
not undetectable...
meaning that what Rumsfeld and Co. refer to as "extra low" are actually SHALLOW.
to wit:

But I do make the connection about the so called "Ground Wave Emergency Network" and what are called ground waves.
The understanding of special relativity goes over a lot of non-academics' heads: but basically quantities aka quanta are relative. So what is called 'extra low' in frequency by doofuses that DON'T understand Einstein and his contemporaries -- is later found to actually not be "extra low" at all -- except, of course, relative to other less low waves. and are actually kind of high pitched...
so to sum up -- the wavelengths called 'extra low' -- that afflict people who complain of hearing them -- they are not really extra low. Because those people DON'T hear the wavelengths emanating from that pulsar out there that emanates at fifty-seven octaves BELOW MIDDLE C.
(to sum up my argument -- my argument is that subliminal suggestions that cause mental aberration, confusion and borderline insane and false assumptions are the goal of the architects of these technologies -- and their descriptions.
Sort of like the Nuclear Posture Review having the same initials as National Public Radio. Innocent, or is it? Or the American Association of Retired Persons...AARP...uh, you've heard of OTHER things that use those same initials, plus H. Innocent? No...it's done on purpose to make people paranoid, to give them a taste of something that they just KNOW is there to mess with their heads -- but that they can't find proof of -- hard proof that they can utilize.
i don't use most of the web-trendy terms for these things except when I absolutely have to. I don't NEED "geekspeak" to explain a concept. It has to be that way for someone. Hence, no "ELF", no "TI" because Texas Instruments is, uh....

Black Hole Sound Waves
- 10 Aug 2004Sound waves 57 octaves lower than middle-C are rumbling away from a supermassive black hole in the Perseus cluster.
Astronomers using NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory have found, for the first time, sound waves from a supermassive black hole. The "note" is the deepest ever detected from any object in our Universe. The tremendous amounts of energy carried by these sound waves may solve a longstanding problem in astrophysics.
The black hole resides in the Perseus cluster of galaxies located 250 million light years from Earth. In 2002, astronomers obtained a deep Chandra observation that shows ripples in the gas filling the cluster. These ripples are evidence for sound waves that have travelled hundreds of thousands of light years away from the cluster's central black hole.
Earlier observations had revealed the prodigious amounts of light and heat created by black holes. "Now we have detected their sound, too," says Andrew Fabian of the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge, England, and the leader of the study.
In musical terms, the pitch of the sound generated by the black hole translates into the note of B flat. But, a human would have no chance of hearing this cosmic performance because the note is 57 octaves lower than middle-C. For comparison, a typical piano contains only about seven octaves. At a frequency over a million billion times deeper than the limits of human hearing, this is the deepest note ever detected from an object in the Universe.
"The Perseus sound waves are much more than just an interesting form of black hole acoustics," says Steve Allen, also of the Institute of Astronomy and a co-investigator in the research. "These sound waves may be the key in figuring out how galaxy clusters, the largest structures in the Universe, grow."
