"Please consider other options before polluting our already struggling waterways with viruses to eliminate the carp problem however 'harmless' to other species your scientists may prove such a virus to be - consider using these carp for cat food or for garden fertiliser, think of a 'useful' and productive outcome, not more pollution  ...  how many other 'harmless solutions' have subsequently proved to be dangerous to other life forms? "

Anyone else care about this travesty? Please join me & write to the CSIRO ...  now I have to find the politician to write to as well
