MedicalConspiracies- This Man Beat Cancer With A Ketogenic Diet - Truth Kings

Many alternative health proponents believe that cancer can be starved. In simple terms, the concept is built around the idea that carbohydrates (fructose or glucose) acts as a vessel for cancer cells. In this concept, cancer cells replicate via these sugars. A ketogenic diet means you aren't eating anything more than a small tiny amount of carbohydrates.
Ketosis has long been used successfully treating epilepsy, so it isn't new to the health front.

At the 4:54 mark the video introduces Dr. Fred Hatfield. Hatfield is a cancer survivor and claims he cured his cancer via starving it through a ketogenic diet. The first

To understand the state of ketosis, one must understand how the body utilizes energy. The brain and body need fuel. In almost every person, that fuel is carbohydrates. In recent years, carbohydrates have been given an undeserved bad rap. Carbs do make us fat and unhealthy, but mostly that issue is due to processed foods which contain huge amounts of straight refined sugars. If we are talking apples and beans, we aren't talking the same bad carbs. The body prioritizes carbs first on the energy list. This is why many people believe in eating an apple or oatmeal in the morning.  But when carbs aren't present in the body, the body shifts to source fat as energy. Appealing? You bet. Many people lose a lot of fat via ketogenic diets for this very reason. In order to achieve ketosis, you need about 3 days free from carbs.

My personal experience: I've done ketosis many times. I definitely lose any extra fat when I do it, but the side effects I experience can be rough. For example, I get severe insomnia and severe anxiety (and not just during the first couple of weeks, for the long term). But, my brain works fast. My brain is way faster on fats than it is on carbs. I say this to you because hearing ketosis might cure cancer leads many to ask "well why eat carbs at all?" In addition, it is important to remember that carbs are associated with fiber. Fiber, found in natural foods, helps serve our gut good "prebiotic" bacteria, and has been linked to lowering instances of colon cancer. I say all of this because I don't want this video to demonize carbs for you, instead, it is a good thing to listen to and expand your mind. If you have cancer, could this be an alternative?

portion of the video explains the concept of the ketogenic diet (you can skip that if you feel you already grasp it). Skip to 4:54 if you do want to skip it. Otherwise, just hit play. I included the video's original description.

I am alive & well from a cancer diagnosis that gave me 3-6 months to live back in 2012. Learn about the major factors that have balanced my body, addressed the underlying problem of my deadly Stage 4 brain cancer, and allowed me to remove all fear from my body and focus on healing via my slogan E-D-S-S-S-S (E=Exercise D=Diet S=Spiritual Guidance S=Stress S=Sleep S=Supplements). I'm alive and well…VERY WELL!
