MedicalConspiracies- Fwd: Fwd: Stop a deadly herbicide containing an Agent Orange ingredient!

BREAKING: The EPA just approved the spraying of a deadly new herbicide in nine more states.

We're fighting in court to stop this reckless decision, but we need your help to see this and other legal battles through.

Last year, the Environmental Protection Agency approved a toxic pesticide cocktail containing 2,4-D for use on genetically engineered corn and soybeans in six Midwest states.

Earthjustice is already in court challenging that decision, but now the EPA is going even further by approving the toxic herbicides for use in nine additional states.

Our legal experts are jumping into action to challenge this reckless decision, but we are up against powerful, deep-pocketed chemical companies that will stop at nothing to continue business as usual.

We need you by our side now more than ever. Will you donate to help us fight back?

The dangerous herbicide, known as Enlist Duo, has two active ingredients: 2,4-D and glyphosate.

The first, 2,4-D, was infamously used during the Vietnam War as an active ingredient in Agent Orange.

The second, glyphosate, is the active ingredient in Monsanto's "Roundup" herbicides.

These chemicals are now being combined in Enlist Duo to combat weeds that have developed a resistance to glyphosate.

We're challenging the EPA's decision to allow the use of Enlist Duo in 15 Midwestern states because of the damaging impacts the powerful new herbicide cocktail will have on farmworkers, neighboring farms, and ground and surface water, as well as endangered species and other wildlife.

Will you help us fight back?

The states where Enlist Duo has been approved are: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Pesticide companies are profiting by dumping more and more toxics into our air and water at the expense of our health, our communities and the endangered wildlife we cherish.

And instead of being an environmental watchdog, the EPA is playing lapdog, allowing this dangerous herbicide to be sprayed on millions of acres without adequately assessing the impacts.

Earthjustice is fighting back, but we rely on the support of concerned individuals like you to see this work through to a successful end.

Please help us take on difficult battles like this today.

Without you, we can't do our work and win.

Thank you for all that you do,

Staff photo

P.S. We're fighting to stop the cycle of more and more pesticide use with less and less oversight, but to win, we need your help! Donate today to help us take on difficult battles like this in court.
