Bible Verse of the Day - Hebrews 12:1 Posted: 27 Jul 2014 07:06 AM PDT Bible Verse of the Day and Thoughts Hebrews 12:1 "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us." What is Paul talking about? A "cloud" of witnesses, he is talking about the very large group of people around him. Paul is saying, let us set aside our sins, cease from doing them and then ask our Father for forgiveness and take the Word of God and run with it.
