Critical thinkers and those people who don't get the majority of their news from the mainstream media are well aware by now that Obama's actions up to this point in America's history have been worthy of impeachment for years now. Yet he continues to completely ignore the Constitution and he continues to do so right in Congress' collective face — as if even the ones who will openly admit Obama's actions are in contempt of this country are all hostages in some backwoods basement somewhere tied to chairs without the ability to do anything about it but watch in horror as each new day passes

Over the last couple weeks I have been glued to the true story "The Lone Survivor," where four of America's finest Navy SEALs of "Operation Red Wings" were sent to do some reconnaissance concerning terrorists in Afghanistan. Right from the start it seemed very clear that the special op was cursed. All the way from herdsman coming directly into their particular position where they were discovered (they could not terminate the compromise of being discovered because of Rules of Engagement), to being surrounded by 200 Taliban while they were waiting and expecting to be extracted but could not (their radio signal was too weak to reach headquarters). Then there was the downing of two Chinook helicopters (two apache helicopters would have given them cover, but they were grounded). All circumstances around this operation seem very strange both from within and from without. Tragically, three of the four SEALs were killed. What began to catch my attention was when Marcus Luttrell said about the enemy, "They knew exactly where we were."

US/EU Misadventure In The Ukraine Has Triggered Economic/Financial Word War III With the CIA-coordinated coup d'état executed in Kiev came the very real prospect of a World War III. However, the much greater war is not being waged on the urban battlefields of Eastern Ukraine or on the Russian border; rather, it's being prosecuted in various national economies and by the world's largest central and commercial banks, transnational corporations and market exchanges. What is at stake is the very future and viability of the US Petrodollar as the reserve currency of the planet

The Obama administration is making it clear that airstrikes targeting ISIS would extend into Syria One year ago the Obama administration was doing their very best to build up public support for U.S. military intervention in Syria. Even though that attempt failed, no one who has been following this crisis closely believed for a moment that this was the end. They would regroup and try again from another angle

A secret US government jet previously employed in CIA rendition flights flew to Europe last year to abduct whistleblower Edward Snowden from Russia and transfer him back to America, according to a new report

Radical Sunni militants who have been capturing cities in northwest Iraq claimed on Twitter that they executed 1,700 Iraqi soldiers. The radicals posted graphic photos as evidence. The photographs, which were posted on the Twitter account associated with the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS/ISIL), came with captions that described their alleged massacre. They did not provide a date or location, but chief military spokesman Lt. Gen. Qassim al-Moussawi said the killings took place in Salahuddin province, located north of Baghdad

What would you say if I told you that Americans are nearly 60 TRILLION dollars in debt? Well, it is true. When you total up all forms of debt including government debt, business debt, mortgage debt and consumer debt, we are 59.4 trillion dollars in debt. That is an amount of money so large that it is difficult to describe it with words. For example, if you were alive when Jesus Christ was born and you had spent 80 million dollars every single day since then, you still would not have spent 59.4 trillion dollars by now. And most of this debt has been accumulated in recent decades. If you go back 40 years ago, total debt in America was sitting at about 2.2 trillion dollars. Somehow over the past four decades we have allowed the total amount of debt in the United States to get approximately 27 times larger. This is utter insanity, and anyone that thinks this is sustainable is completely deluded. We are living in the greatest debt bubble of all time, and there is no way that this is going to end well. Just check out the chart

A quaint comparison of what money can buy in today's market has Bill Gates being able to afford every home in Boston. His $76.6 billion reported by the Washington Post or the $78.4 billion by Forbes seems a pittance when put up against John D. Rockefeller's peak wealth of $318.3 billion (based on 2007 US dollar).

In a newly unearthed audio interview Hillary Clinton reveals how she managed to get a plea bargain for a man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl - and shockingly laughs as she indicated she knew he may have been guilty. During the course of the conversation which dates from the early 1980s, Clinton, then 27, outlines how she used a mistake by the prosecution to get 41-year-old Thomas Alfred Taylor to walk free.

As the sectarian US-backed central government in Iraq loses up to half its territory to jihadist forces, the country is entering its biggest crisis in years. So far the Obama administration is resisting pressure to intervene with air strikes or drones. This would be a useful time for the US intellectual cheerleaders of the disastrous 2003 invasion to gaze upon their handiwork and consider how high that achievement ranks in their CVs. Certainly they bear some responsibility for today's events. They acted to destabilize the country in the first place, uprooting a secular dictatorship

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 110,000 Americans die as a result of obesity each year, and that one-third of all cancers are directly related to excess weight. Data collected from over 60,000 Canadians also shows that obesity now leads to more doctor visits than smoking. One in four Americans is also pre-diabetic or diabetic, and heart disease and cancer—both of which are associated with obesity—top the mortality charts

Powers once granted are almost impossible to take back. After 13.5 years, there is more than enough evidence for reasonable people to conclude that the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack H. Obama are easily the most destructive in U.S. history

Quantum computing could revolutionize the way we interact with information. Such systems would process data faster and on larger scales than even the most super of supercomputers can handle today. But this technology would also dismantle the security systems that institutions like banks and governments use online, which means it matters who gets their hands on a working quantum system first.

U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel ordered an aircraft carrier moved into the Gulf on Saturday, readying it in case Washington decides to pursue a military option after insurgents overwhelmed a string of Iraqi cities this week and threatened Baghdad. "The order will provide the Commander-in-Chief additional flexibility should military options be required to protect American lives, citizens and interests in Iraq," the Pentagon said in a statement

Instead of a moral failing or physiological malfunction, is addiction an adaptive response to circumstances? You've probably heard about those addiction studies with caged lab rats, in which the rats compulsively press the heroin dispensing lever again and again, even to the point of choosing it over food and starving themselves to death. These studies seemed to imply some pretty disheartening things about human nature. Our basic biology is not to be trusted; the seeking of pleasure leads to disaster; one must therefore overcome biological desires through reason, education, and the inculcation of morals; those whose willpower or morals are weak must be controlled and corrected
