New Evidence:
What's Killing Our Bees?

It was the perfect crime—no bodies, no murder weapon, no bees. But, new research from Harvard spotlights what Earthjustice and others have suspected all along: America's bee colonies are being killed by pesticides known as neonics.

Bees are dying in record numbers!

Help us fight back to stop a new, highly toxic bee-killing pesticide called sulfoxaflor.

Quotation

The bees are starving. The herbicide kills all the natural forage, and then the bees are concentrated only on crops that have insecticide applied to them.

Courts Rule in Favor of Americans' Lungs

Tens of thousands of Americans will live longer, healthier lives because of four court victories—including one from the Supreme Court—that will curb air pollutants from industrial sources and quell smog. Earthjustice President Trip Van Noppen has the story.

Other recent court victories include:

Outfall. (Luis Prado / The Noun Project)

VIDEO: Coral and Parrotfish – A Love Story

Caribbean coral can't live without each other. That's why Earthjustice's recent court victory to protect coral also saves parrotfish. But neither is safe until the National Marine Fisheries Service uses better science. Take a scuba dive with attorney Andrea Treece to learn more about this ecological balancing act, and then tell the Fisheries Service to act now in its defense.

Florida's Springs Going Foul

The state of Florida is allowing its 900+ freshwater springs—thought to be the greatest concentration on earth—to become choked with manure, sewage and fertilizer. And the state is issuing permits to pump too much water from the springs, which harms natural systems, so Earthjustice is suing.
