When you threaten someone, you better be ready to backup what you are saying or you loose your credibility. I think we are witnessing that with the US daily. (Source: CBS) - President Obama, in an interview in Rome with "CBS Evening News" anchor and managing editor Scott Pelley, said Russia must take steps now to reduce tensions over Ukraine. "It's well known and well acknowledged that you've seen a range of troops massing along that border under the guise of military exercises. But these are not what Russia would normally be doing. Philippine Government, Muslim Rebels Sign Peace Pact Posted: 28 Mar 2014 06:31 AM PDT (Source: Latin American Tribune) - The Philippine government and the country's largest Muslim guerrilla group signed an accord Thursday that aims to end decades of armed conflict. President Benigno Aquino and the leader of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, Al Haj Ebrahim Murad, put their signatures to the document in a ceremony at Manila's Malacañang palace. Pakistani Christian gets death penalty for blasphemy Posted: 28 Mar 2014 06:29 AM PDT (Source: BBC) - A Pakistani Christian man has been sentenced to death for blasphemy, in a case which sparked fierce rioting in the eastern city of Lahore last March. Sawan Masih was convicted of using derogatory remarks against the Prophet Mohammed in a row with a Muslim friend.
