MedicalConspiracies- Horchata Recipe traditional Mexican drink

Horchata

Enjoy this refreshing traditional Mexican drink on Cinco de Mayo—or any other day of the year!

Ingredients

12   c  
almonds, soaked in 2 c hot water for 3 hours and then drained
14   c  
cooked rice, rinsed after cooking
1   tsp  
ground cinnamon
2   tbsp  
agave nectar
1   c  
cold water
1   c  
ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

Add almonds, rice, and water to WildSide jar and secure lid. Select “Whole Juice.” Add remaining ingredients to jar and secure lid. Select Speed 6, and run for full cycle. Serve as is, or pour mixture through cheesecloth for a thinner beverage.
