It is sad, yes. Sad that doctors like you will only read what the industry and its minions want you to read. Your medicine is supposed to be scientific. Science is about questions, science is about debates. But today's medical fraternity will never tolerate either! They prefer to lay supine at the hallowed feet of the profit only corporate structure that is today's medicine.
Your ignorance about the Oral Polio Vaccine is shocking. It is also shocking for us that we have to depend on people like you to take medical decisions on our behalf. It is no wonder that the thinking man of today is shunning your assumption based medicine and going in for the real systems that heal. It is also no wonder that the super rich cabal that rules us go in for homeopathy for their personal ills but buy shares of and promote corporate medicine.
Are you aware;
1. Sabine & Salk themselves spoke out against the polio vaccines when they observed the vaccines caused polio? 2. Dr Antoine Beauchamp, MD, an eminent doctor of his time, lashed out at the vaccine industry even as vaccine pioneers were at work saying that not germs or viruses but weak immune systems caused disease and that immune strengthening measures should be encouraged instead? 3. The entire history of vaccines is full of doctors and the public flaying the unscientific practice. 4. Dr Viera Scheibner in her epic "Vaccination: 100 Years of Orthodox Research" has, with official disease statistics proved that vaccines are neither safe nor effective? There are no scientific studies that prove that vaccines are effective, rather assumptions rule the roost 5. A list of vaccine ingredients let out the shocking truth that vaccines are not just weakened strains of germs and viruses being injected into children but are full of potent studied toxins, intended and unintended viruses and "other contaminants"? 6. That there are a host of studies that link vaccines to 65 chronic illnesses and disabilities despite the industry funding only those studies that exonerate vaccines 7. Pediatricians themselves, as admitted to me, are no longer vaccinating their own children and grandchildren after they came across my articles detailing the harm from vaccines 8. In hospital settings doctors simply refuse to be vaccinated and nurses are fighting moves to vaccinate them 9. Well, as I always say, we can go on and on. It is shocking that the medical fraternity instead of protecting us from harm have pushed us into an era of disease and disability to suit their financial interests. That doctors are in the deep pockets of the industry is no longer a secret.
I would suggest you begin to educate yourself by reading the books of Dr Robert Mendelson, Prof Dr B M Hegde, among others, and repent and reform yourselves from being the disease and disability creators that you are to healers.
And yes, please do not display your tail of qualifications in your future mails. You should be ashamed that despite posing to be "qualified doctors" your ilk has not been credited to cure any chronic disease till date! You people are effective medicine and vaccine pushers, a feat that even a five year old can perform.

Very sad, unscientific and baseless propaganda against the Oral Polio vaccine! I still remember days when the wards used to be full with polio cases. Now some of the finest persons are working with me who suffered with polio during their childhood. How could you say that vaccines have not played any role in preventing and controlling polio? Although I agree that there should have been more emphasis on improving sanitation and providing safe water, along with good vaccine strategy. However, I can not even think of not giving adequate vaccine cover to an infant in my close family.
A balanced view should be taken in public health matters. If the vaccine lobby is being over zealous in pursuing their tubular vision, the anti-vaccine lobby is playing Talibani extremism. What a sad situation!

In case you didn't hear him yourself, Bill Gates publicly announced that vaccines could help reduce the world population by 15%. Gates also proclaimed that every newborn should be registered for vaccinations immediately to assure the goal of 90% of the population getting vaccinated for his "century of the vaccination." The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation program in India was promoted as "The Last Mile: Eradicating polio in India." The promotional video displayed numbers showing thousands of cases of polio in India decades ago, with the number of cases dropping to 42 by 2010. But it appears that wild polio virus stats have been traded for polio from vaccines and non-polio acute flaccid paralysis (NPAFP). In India, over 47,000 cases of NPAFP were reported in 2011. The paralysis symptoms of NPAFP are practically the same as what's attributed to "eradicated" wild virus polio. Apparently, vaccine polio viruses also cause polio paralysis. VAPP affects only those who had consumed the OPVs. Yet there are other ways OPVs can spread polio. Family members, friends, even villagers associated with those who took OPVs can be infected from viral shedding.Viral shedding is common among OPV vaccinated persons and those inoculated with attenuated live viruses.
