You should be VERY worried about this… 'Cookies' are hidden in your computer.
Many of them are tracking your movements online.
Cookies, today, can do a lot more than simply saving bits of information such as user preferences, or shopping cart contents. In fact, most people are unaware that there are other types of cookies, in addition to the typical browser cookies.
Collectively, these are called Super Cookies. For example the 'Flash cookie' is being used by many of today's popular websites. The evercookie combines all types of approaches like regular Cookies, Super Cookies and ETAG tracking, so it is nearly impossible to get rid of it manually.
The problem here, is that today's browsers cannot delete these cookies and, the icing on the cake, is that the information is shared among all installed browsers!

So, you may ask, "What's the big deal?"
Well, the "big deal" is that these cookies, if placed on websites as web bugs, can store a lot of information, including, what websites you have visited, what your browsing habits are, which topics you're interested in, where you shop, where you take your laptop to, which hotels or companies you visited, and much more! Thanks to these cookies, over time, you can be tracked and profiled more and more precisely.
You can also check your computer with an exclusive Privacy Test from a company who has written one of the best Cookie Manager software programs available, to see what information websites can get from your system right now!
You should be VERY worried about this, as you not only have no control over whether these cookies even exist on your machine, but even worse, you have absolutely NO CONTROL over the information that they can gather. And, you have absolutely no idea how that information can be used!!!
(WIRED) — More than half of the Internet's top websites use a little known capability of Adobe's Flash plugin to track users and store information about them, but only four of them mention the so-called Flash Cookies in their privacy policies, UC Berkeley researchers found.
It's not as easy as you may think to clear your computer of cookies that let Web sites track your data.
Unlike traditional browser cookies, Flash cookies are relatively unknown to web users, and they are not controlled through the cookie privacy controls in a browser. That means even if a user thinks they have cleared their computer of tracking objects, they most likely have not.
What's even sneakier?
Several services even use the surreptitious data storage to reinstate traditional cookies that a user deleted, which is called 're-spawning' in homage to video games where zombies come back to life even after being "killed," the report found. So even if a user gets rid of a website's tracking cookie, that cookie's unique ID will be assigned back to a new cookie again using the Flash data as the "backup."
Even the Whitehouse.gov showed up in the report, with researchers reporting they found a Flash cookie with the name "userId." The site does say in its privacy policy that it uses tracking technology but it does not mention Flash or tell users how to get rid of the Flash cookie.

cashless-society
Image: Warner Bros. The Wizard Of Oz
The bankers ultimate dream is a cashless society. In one, they will have taken total control. When the time comes when transactions are not accepted with a cash medium, 'they' will then have obtained the ability to fully manipulate your behavior.
Think about it. While many of us enjoy the conveniences of debit cards, automatic payments, online banking, automatic deposit, etc., many of us also are encountering or transacting in 'cash', less and less.
A downside to a cashless society is the fact that EVERYTHING you buy will be logged, applied to algorithms, and stored in databases. Those who have access to the databases will be able to profile you. If the profiler is the government, or certain corporations in collaboration with the government, they could potentially create profiles and rules for you, your transactions, your habits and movements, and even impose limits or premiums for certain behavior. You could really go deep with conspiracy related potential abuses of such power, and thinking it through (the devious possibilities) is not beyond the realm of what could one day happen. When it comes to government, it's always about the money and control.
You will never again be free should the bankster gangsters, in cahoots with the guberment, be able to track and monitor your every financial move in real time.
But guess what? They are experimenting with this right now, as I type this, with the U.S. military. According to TheIntelHub.com, who recently received a note from a deployed military member, the military has implemented the Eagle cash card, a misnomer since there's NO CASH involved.
We are already using "Chips", however, these chips are "Smart Cards" with chips on them. It is called the "Eagle Cash Card". As with most technology that the government employs, they are trying it on the Department of Defense in areas not in plain site of regular civilians.
We basically use it as anyone would use a standard Credit Card, however, the funds come directly from our bank accounts. We can load funds on it and immediately use it at every vendor. We can also transfer funds among each other (From Soldier to Soldier).
This sounds similar to a debit card, which withdraws directly from your bank account. The difference though appears to be person-to-person transactions, and the apparent ability to transact ALL financials among the parties involved… for EVERYTHING.
This is just another part of the slippery slope into a 100% fascist society, controlled by a tiny group of elite psychopaths. "I have been using it for more than three years now at an undisclosed location in the Middle East."
Things aren't out of control yet in this realm, but just remember that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. When the system goes live, YOU will be your 'ID', and you will not be able to transact without joining the system. They will have achieved absolute power (over you). No doubt that if you do not join, you will be breaking the law.
As technology advances and these things become increasingly doable, and are accepted more widely, you can visualize what it could become. Some will argue how this will not be a problem and how it will be ordinary technological advancement in our modern society. Others though will recognize how this will lead to total control of a enslaved modern people who themselves will not be free (as our forefathers defined freedom). Instead they will be led (pulled) by the brass ring in their noses as they live within the confines of that 'modern' system. The powers-that-be will extract what they want, while the people will have no choice but to comply – or starve.
They will have to 'ban' backyard vegetable gardens first, but I'm waiting for that bit of legislation… they've already implemented some forms of this, but that's another post for another day.

firearm-safety-training-experience
As some of you know, not long ago we moved to another state. While going through the process of getting our LTC (license to carry) here, we've recently taken one of the 'approved' firearms safety training courses, and I would like to share some things that we observed there.
First of all, we were very happy to discover that our instructor was (is) very good at what he does. He happens to be a police chief of one of the towns nearby. Being a police chief, I was curious at first whether he would be 'on our side', so to speak. What I mean by that is, he wasn't there to weed out or discourage those of us attending. He was there to help us. In fact, on occasion he surprisingly (and refreshingly) spoke his opinion regarding some of the absurdities of some of the laws here (thanks to the fact that politicians and legislatures who make laws are sometimes clearly out of their expertise on a given subject while doing so). The chief clearly explained state definitions, interpretations, and what things really mean here while at the same time providing very informative and practical hands-on instruction, all sprinkled with a fair amount of life-experience stories and examples. In other words, he was there to help us succeed through the system while trying to get our LTC. Kudos to him (and other firearms instructors out there who are helping the ordinary citizen exercise their rights for 'all lawful purposes').
The next thing I would like to mention is the demographic of those attending the class. Of the approximate 45 people, I would say that 75% of them were 'middle aged' or older. There looked to be about ten '20-somethings', about twenty 30′s 40′s and 50-somethings, and what really surprised me was about fifteen 60+ year old folks! The older folks really surprised me. Good for them! The instructor even commented how we would be very surprised to discover that there are more 'older' folks than we realize, who are 'carrying' while in public. In addition, apparently, approximately 80% of American households have a gun (I knew it was high, but I wasn't aware of that apprx. percentage).
It was enjoyable to be among like-minded people who were there to be trained and to exercise their right to legally carry firearms. Despite the cross-section of age groups, you could feel the comradery and hear the story telling of various experiences. It was also enjoyable to walk outside during a 20 minute break and hear the crack of firearms practice down on the range… can't wait to get back out there.
The experience was a good one, which inspired me to briefly comment about it and to encourage those of you who may have been considering getting your own license to carry, to go ahead and do so. It may become more difficult to get in the future (hopefully not), so the sooner you do it, the better. There are plenty of good people and good trainers out there who will be more than happy to help you out. If you are not sure where to start, you could ask at your local police department or at a nearby rod-and-gun club.
I know that one of our most active 'commenters' here on Modern Survival Blog (TripodXL) is a firearms instructor and I'm sure (pretty sure) ;) he would respond to your questions here on the comment string to this post, should there be any…
