Well the sickness industry ,politicians,media jackals & uncle Tom Cobbly have always lied to us ......
The creator of this clip questions the authenticity of the Atomic Test footage from the 1950s -- images, with which almost everyone is familiar. He says that the cameras were suspiciously unmoved by the explosions, considering that they were supposed to be filming from the Ground Zeros of multi-megaton blasts.
The film of the very first atom bomb test definitely looks faked, with strange "jump cuts" and very primitive special effects, however the filmmaker's argument goes over the edge when the voiceover concludes that politicians are: "Lying about the very *existence* of weapons of mass destruction...and why don't they call them nuclear bombs anymore?"
We DO hear about nuclear weapons almost every day, in relation to Iran's uranium enrichment program for the alleged purpose of constructing nuclear weapons -- but it is true that the linguistics around "nuclear weapons" has shifted since the end of the Cold War and that the mainstream news "Is all about terrorism all the time," to quote a NY Times writer whose anonymity I'll protect.
It's quite obvious that some of these nuclear test films are fake propaganda pieces -- but to say that the *very existence of nuclear weapons is a hoax* is called "not doing your homework!" It's kind of a fun thought, though. Wouldn't it be funny if this whole song and dance about the nuclear threat with Iran, North Korea and the entirety of the Cold War were just one big fat lie? Hee hee.
